Your web reputation will be sludge if you engage in the following:
1. Sell a product that doesn't help anyone.
2. Forcefully install illegal software / malware / badware / adware on innocent's computers.
3. Get connected with any website or service doing the above.
The web is starting to become a heavily policed environment. User groups and self appointed corporate organizations are taking it upon themselves to keep the web squeaky clean.
Right or wrong -- if you are accused, you may find yourself in a situation akin to fighting reports on your credit that don't belong.
Get some good anti-virus software for your computer, quiz whomever is hosting your website and learn what makes the web go round.
